Program audits

Edvigorate program audits find ways to enhance the efficacy of what you're already doing well, and discover fillable gaps and new opportunities to wow your audiences.

We look at your existing educational programming and show where it can do more, including how well it lines up with state content standards.

What an audit can do

  • Increase retention and revenue
  • Augment alignment with school standards
  • Amplify marketability
  • Boost notoriety and word of mouth discovery

How an audit works

  1. Free consultations

    1. Getting to know you

We start with a conversation about your institution: its mission and goals, what it does best, and the programs you offer today. We help you dream big and brainstorm what an upgrade could look like.

    2. Planning the audit

We conduct research and develop initial ideas on how to make your programs truly phenomenal, and meet with your leadership and educators to give your organization actionable recommendations. If you decide you want Edvigorate to manage execution, we discuss expectations, deliverables, and budget and put a contract in place.

  2. The audit

    1. Learning your content

We study your institution's content and curriculum, and interview your experts and educators about what works well and what could be better.

    2. Reviewing your programs

We read your lesson plans and related materials, then visit to watch your programs being delivered and take notes.

    3. Analysis

Applying research-backed and experience-tested teaching principles, we look for the areas with the most room to improve: where programs fall short of their goals, how they line up with standards, how to improve accessibility and broaden your audience, and how they could simply be more fun. We also look for new ways to use and market your programs.

    4. The report

You get a clear, professional report that lays out specific actions and paths forward for meeting your goals.

  3. Recommendations

    1. Presenting the report

We present the report and meet with the people who will put the changes in place to talk through the recommendations and answer their questions. That way your team understands the changes and is on board before they begin.

    2. Help with the changes (optional)

Edvigorate can stay on to help carry out the changes, oversee them, or monitor them for efficacy and further improvement.

How a new program comes together

  1. Free consultations

    1. Your hopes for the program

We start with a conversation about your institution and what you hope a new program could do, and come up with ideas together.

    2. Choosing the right program

We do some early digging on the subject and sketch out a few directions the program could take. With those on the table, we work out what kind of program fits your needs, your space, and your resources, including whether you'll need new staff or any research to get started. Then we settle the details and put a contract in place.

  2. Curriculum development

    1. Preparation

We research the program's topics and interview the subject experts at your institution, along with anyone already lined up to run the program, so they help shape it from the start. Then we apply research-backed methods to find the most effective ways to connect with your intended audience in a meaningful way.

    2. Options to choose from

We draft curriculum maps or sample lesson plans and bring them to your team with recommendations for approval.

    3. Full development

In consultation with your staff or volunteers, we use proven learning principles to flesh out every lesson, written so educators can easily understand and deliver it. Building it together means your team is invested in the program before it launches. You end up with a complete curriculum book and lesson delivery kits.

  3. Implementation

    1. Staffing

Together, we recruit staff or identify volunteers who will run the program.

    2. Training

We train the people delivering the program and run practice sessions with them, so they start out confident and ready to make the program their own.

    3. Evaluation

Once the program is running, we help you evaluate it, improve it, and keep refining it, or help you set up a system to do that yourselves. We can also help you think through how to market it to the audience you want to reach.
